Pierre Desmarais completed a Masters in Music composition at l’Université de Montréal. He has composed music for the television series Fais ça court! (Télé-Québec, 2008), the web-series Fréquences (Z-Télé, 2012), the sports documentary Tagliani: The Man The Athlete (SportsNet, 2013) and a variety of corporate shorts. In 2010, his music made its way to the Cannes Film Festival with the short film La lettre by ZhiMin Hu. In 2011, he composed music the short film Félix et Malou by director Sophie Dupuis. It went on to win the CEV prize at the Prends ça court! Festival. It was also nominated for a Jutra that same year. Pierre Desmarais composed music for the television series Rogue Earth 2, which was broadcasted on the Discovery channel. He recently completed music for the sixth season of Restoration Garage.
